Perfectly grilled patties usually end up between two buns … and eaten. A lot of people really love hamburgers. Nothing is as nice as enjoying a nice afternoon, relaxing on your lawn, and enjoying the nice outdoor breeze while grilling some meat and buns. In pop culture, there are so many TV cartoon characters that show extreme love for hamburgers. This is not a surprise especially since a lot of TV viewers would be able to relate to them. Wimpy
Most adults these days would recall one TV cartoon character who love hamburgers and that is no one else but Wimpy. Wimpy is a character from the popular Popeye the Sailorman series. It is undeniable that hamburgers are Wimpy’s favorite dish often depicted eating a plateful of it. However, most of the time, he has a hard time paying for the hamburgers he ate. In order to satisfy his craving for hamburger, he sometimes tricks other people in the diner to pay his hamburgers for him. Wimpy also has a very strong smell for hamburgers and he knows whether a hamburger is being cooked near him. He loves hamburgers so much that one might see his head as having similarities with a hamburger.
Jughead Jones
Another cartoon character whom one could recall as having a strong love for hamburgers is Jughead Jones from the Archie comics and TV series. He really loves burgers and is often depicted eating at his favorite diner, Pop Tate’s. He often joins hamburger eating contests and there was this one time where he had to eat a giant burger which is actually made of sixteen different burgers. Aside from hamburgers, Jughead is also known to have a craving for other kinds of food like pizza and hotdog. He loves these other two dishes so much that he had two world records for eating pizza and he named his dog, Hotdog.
Characters from Spongebob Squarepants
If one would ask kids these days on which cartoon character they know to have a strong appetite for hamburgers, most kids would give names from the Spongebob Squarepants TV series. The characters from that TV show really love to eat hamburgers, particularly the one that that they refer to as the Krabby Patty. It is being sold at the Krusty Krabb restaurant where the main character, Spongebob works. The characters in the show love that special hamburger so much but its recipe is secret. One ultimate hamburger fan, Plankton, is one of the antagonists of the show and he always attempts to steal the secret recipe only to end up failing in the end.
