Choosing a caterer for your event or party
Whatever the event you are planning the food is probably going to be an important part of it. If people are coming to an event like a wedding or other big celebration they will probably expect some good food, if they are paying a lot for ticket to a ball or similar then they are even more certain to want some food that they will enjoy.
Enjoyable food doesn’t necessarily have to be a gourmet offering. You should know your guests and know whether a good sized portion of delicious food is more important than something that simply looks exquisite and expensive.
The best thing may be to either choose a caterer that you have tasted food from before at an event you have attended or to try food from a caterer before you book. You could use a venue that provides food of course but this limits your choice. A caterer that can come in somewhere as long as they have a kitchen will give you more choice but for the best choice you may want a mobile caterer.
The important thing to find out about any mobile caterer is how much of the preparation and cooking they do beforehand. If a caterer is simply heating up food on site it may not be as good. One great option is to use a
barbeque catering company that can cook delicious food on site, and not just sausages and burgers but also sit down meals such as steak, chicken breast or shrimp.
