Charcoal grills
They are extremely common and least expensive grills. You only need a pit and some charcoal to set it up. It works easily on wood too. Take note though that when it comes to the final product, electric grills have nothing on charcoal grills. They cannot match or replicate the flavors that are synonymous with gas and charcoal grills. Note too that electric grills cannot be moved from one place to another.
Gas grills
They are very easy to use. That explains why they are extremely popular. They emit instant heat, which means they can significantly reduce cooking time. The heat also ensures that the barbecue will be cooked evenly. The grills have always evolved, with different manufacturers coming up with breathtaking features. The average gas grill run on natural gas or bottled propane, which both need regular refilling. This often turns out to be a costly affair. It is in fact, the only downside with gas barbecue grills. The trick is to use the natural gas from your gas service provider. Be sure to use your gas barbecue grill when in a hurry or when you simply want to have a party for just a few hours.
Infrared barbecue grills
They are fairly new in the market. They roast barbecues by radiating heat which heats up a ceramic tile. One can therefore have an evenly cooked barbecue on infrared grills effortlessly. As far as convenience is concerned, the infrared barbecue grill is just as effective as the gas grill. It is faster and very easy to use. There are two downsides with infrared grills. First, they are huge. Then they are bulky. That doesn’t mean they are sophisticated or expensive. As already hinted, they are easy to use. As for the price, it all depends on the model one goes for.
Toasters cum grills
They are ideal for those who want to savor and indulge in small BBQ bites during the day. They come in handy when one is in a hurry in the morning when the day has to start off with burger patties, BBQs and grilled fish. They are also ideal for health conscious BBQ lovers as they encourage minimal use of cooking oil. There are no downsides with toasters cum grills. It should however be noted that not all brands offer value for money. It also depends on how one uses and maintains the appliance.
