A Brief History Lesson About Barbecue And Its Origins

Barbecue was widely recognized in America in the late 1800. However, it is not known who invented the barbecue. To barbecue means to slowly cook pieces of meat at low temperatures until they are ready to be eaten and wooden platforms were used to cook them. In the 19th century, the primary food used for barbecue was pork because there were lots of pigs in the area and they were cooked relatively easy. Step by step, different methods and techniques to make the cooking process easier and better and also, various assortments of meat were used as well. These days, barbecue is very popular and almost all Americans go for a barbecue at least one a week. Also, it is a tradition that at 4th of July, every American honor the day with a barbecue. However, barbecue is not present only on American territory. In fact it is used pretty much anywhere. Europeans are also very fond to this cooking technique and the popularity of barbecue spread even to Korea. Every nation has its own methods of cooking on barbecue, but the principle remains the same. Having a barbecue it is an ideal method of spending time with your family and friends and eat delicious foods.
