How to Establish a Barbeque Catering Business Part 3
Advertising to your friends and family is easy but it will likely not get you as much work as you might like. A good strategy to get more work would be to host your own barbeque and invite as many people as possible. However, before you start the barbeque make sure to print out a bunch of business cards for your
barbeque catering services. Now, you can start inviting as many people as possible and make sure to organize everything nicely so people know that you are good at what you do. Cook good food and serve drinks; make sure everyone has a good time.
Throughout the event make sure that the guests know that you have a barbeque catering business so hand out your business card to various people and leave some on tables so people can see them. Your business card should have the phone number of your office as well as email and the website address for your business followed by your name and position. For example, if you are the owner, place your name on the card in large bold letters and under your name place your position in the business which would be ‘owner’ or ‘founder’.
If you follow the tips outlined in the posts in this series you will have a barbeque catering business up and running in no time.
